Augusta is in Georgia, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Augusta follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

The ownership is very nice, the rooms are much better than the facade indicates. The landscaper is doing a wonderful job with what they have. Check in front desk A+. The man working the Cafe seemed a bit put off to help me. Overall the the property is distressed and needs to have much of the cement in the parking areas removed and replaced with green) trees to keep it from feeling so hot. Was there for a special event but would not chooses to stay there if it weren't the case.

After a previous negative review for numerous flaws with their establishment (from flawed billing to a rude and intoxicated guest causing a disturbance in the lobby (with management and customers waiting their turn behind him in the lobby line) while I was attempting to check in and other things so bad I wont mention again), after a couple years passed and reading about all the positive things, I decided I would like to revisit only to find myself on their "Ban List". I spoke with the owner who told me "the ONLY way that could happen was for me to remove my post and then write TWO more positive ones". While I was seriously not wanting bad feeling to continue, I removed my previous post (in hopes I could revisit) but I just can't bring myself to promise to write anything positive ahead of an actual visit and actually feel something good while I'm there. This is a "shame" as I was one of the very FIRST guests when they first opened and what makes it sad is the owner is now treating me this way and we can't come to some kind of mutual resolve as I would like BUT with said.... I told the owner that "IF" I were to return, I would need him to check me in. He told me could

I went March 15th for a long weekend, drove from Orlando Fl, a six hour drive that was not too bad as mostly highway or minimal traffic once out of Florida. Being from Orlando, the tourist capital of the USA, I am used to very nice hotels and service ( at a high cost), on the same hand while I can afford luxury I am ok with good: I will say this place was very good. Price: You can't beat the price of the room - very fair for what you get, in Florida standards cheap. Location: It is somewhat off the beaten path and in an industrial area, and nearest expressway is about an hour away, but the traffic in Augusta is not bad, so easy to get around and many restaurants not to far from the hotel. Ammenities: I stayed on the Parliament side in a newly remodeled room ( highly suggest staying on that side as more to do and nicer rooms with a gated resort which felt safer. They have a small Cafe, 2 bars, a pool ( which was being painted on a weekend ?????) , a bathhouse ( need to clean the steam room), yet unlike Florida everyone walked around dressed, and another thing they called the pig pen, which was nice. Besides the Capri lounge my favorite part of the weekend was the fire pit on Frid

If you find yourself in Augusta, GA, be sure to experience the Metropolitan Complex! My recent visit from February 3rd to 6th was truly outstanding. From the incredibly welcoming front office staff to the fantastic teams at the bar and nightclub, every interaction was a pleasure. And don't miss the Cafe β the food was absolutely excellent, served by the most wonderful staff. The Metropolitan Complex is genuinely a must-stop destination in the area. I'm already looking forward to my next visit and extend my sincere thanks for a truly great time. Thanks to GGB for the recommendation.

This review is more so for the um, offerings not the rooms. The last time I visited was in 2022 or 2023. Didnt stop in at the "pen" this time but the other building was how I remembered it. Downstairs was stuffy, the content of videos played upstairs seemed to be from the early 2000s, and throughout the inside up and downstairs was slightly dark. I'd saythe inside of that particular building could use a little renovation work.
